The centre roofs are now repaired, but the rest is still dodgy. We must now wait till September as we cannot disturb our bats during the summer. But we are still church - people, not buildings - and continue to hold the thread of prayer, asking for God’s peace for all who live or visit here.
£500,000. We are being brave, repairing roofs and installing facilities (we have none at present!) to give Dundry a church to be proud of into the future. In one year we have raised a staggering £400,000. Thank you for opening your pockets and purses! Please keep on giving! There will be lots of events to take part in, so watch this space for news. We will get there, the church will reopen.
On Line: visit: http://www.justgiving.com/stmpccd. And taxpayers can Gift Aid donations, adding 25p from the government for every £1 given, at no cost to you.
By text: you can donate £5 by texting DUND33 £5 to 70070
Write a message, or draw a picture on a slate to commemorate, to celebrate or just for fun! Book just for you, as a couple or as a family... You can come to the church to sign your slate, which will then go aloft as part of the repairs. Or we can write it for you. All messages (unless you prefer just to have your name recorded) will go into a book to be kept in church. And don't forget to Gift Aid if you can!
How to book. Leave your name, telephone number and email address:
We will contact you to arrange payment and give you dates for signing.

We are a living church that seeks to build a happy community as we serve God and one another. We live and are guided and inspired by the light and life of Jesus Christ, shaping all we do on his pattern. There is a warm welcome for everyone and all ages at all our services.
For the time being, please leave your prayer requests on Revd Lovern's phone. A name, and why you want prayer, helps us to pray for you and yours, but if you prefer, your request may be anonymous and non-specific – we will still pray!
For all primary school aged children. Snack, chat and a fun-filled way to learn about God. Parents join us for the last half hour. Remaining dates for this year are 8 Jun and 13 Jul – all Mondays, after school ends at 3.15, at Dundry CEVA Primary School. With thanks to the school for allowing us to use their premises.
Everyone welcome to this informal worship, with modern songs, inspirational speakers – and coffee and cakes! And it’s OK to be late, come when you can. Fourth Thursday of each month, 7.30pm at the Old School Room, Chew Magna.
